A Dissatisfied LIFE
Despite our true nature we’ve become convinced, by people, circumstance, conditions and statistics that barriers are dead ends or a sign that we are not meant to thrive; instead of simply looking at them as a part of the process or just mechanisms that we need to explore navigate and learn from. Everything that has occurred in your life is a contribution to your becoming. You can use to it to strengthen or diminish your resolve. Some of us half-heartedly pursue our passions and then settle on a more predictable, less challenging and ‘acceptable’ way of being in this world. In other instances Life has a way of getting in the way of our best intentions. There are things we feel we need to do. People we believe we need to become. We do the things we feel like we have to do and all those things that we truly desire to do gets pushed aside. This is how graphic artist become construction workers, painters become paralegals, musicians become dentist and comedians become stockbrokers. I find no fault with working construction, being a stockbroker or a paralegal if that is your passion or interests. It is when we misalign our occupations with our interest that we become out of sync with our true nature; and become dissatisfied with our becoming no matter how much we become in that occupation. We continue to progress because growth is our default; however when we are misaligned we grow toward and increase a lie that will never fulfill who we are. It does not matter the number of degrees, promotions, awards, lovers, or money. If your becoming is not nurturing ‘the original seed’ you will not be satisfied. It is the fulfilling of dreams that will never ever truly fulfill you that create the greatest dissatisfaction in life.
