Five years ago yesterday I moved to Baltimore, Maryland. Five years ago yesterday I was without a home, a job, a degree, or a car… The one thing that I did have that has made all the difference, are two words with one simple idea that has launched a company, a cd a book and a movement. Those two words are Be More.

Those two words moved me

• From cashing welfare checks to cashing Federal Payroll Checks

• From no degree to 3 degrees

• From no job to being CEO

• From homelessness to being a landlord

• From not knowing anyone to being in the room with Secretaries of State and the President of the United States.

There was a time in my life where every time I extended my hand it was to receive some favor, some grace some blessing bestowed upon me. As long as I’m living I hope to continue to receive grace and blessings. But now that I’m doing a little better, I figure it’s my turn to spread some of that around. My turn to to be used as an instrument to extend some favor, some grace, some blessing.  Because I am living what I call a Be More life. A life about being more, doing more and serving more. I care, because  I AM the people I help.

A Be More life is where you say ‘I am greater than my circumstance. It is a life where your “WHY” is bigger than your ‘how’. It is a life where you understand your mission and your convictions are strong enough to overcome any objection. It is life for people who dare to advance in the direction of their dreams no matter how far away they may seem. I am telling you, if a woman who is the product of teenage pregnancy and who had a father who was a heroin addict can stand up and Be More … then so can you.  I know that it is my divine assignment to help people who help people. If you believe that your specific task here on earth is to help others and if you are passionate about service…. Well, then we got something in common. Let’s talk, my passion is your purpose. 

It’s evident, I probably don’t have the average CEO’s background, gene pool or wealth. So I don’t do things the average way. What I do have is my head, my heart and my hustle and I use them all to get my clients the results they want.
